As an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Economics at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, I am deeply engaged in exploring how fiscal policy can drive sustainable development for developing countries, particularly focusing on taxation and fiscal strategies. My recent research covers topics such as income tax, VAT, global minimum income tax, carbon tax, and the digital fiscal stimulus effects.

I received my PhD degree in economics from Rice University. Previously, I was an economist at the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) in Washington DC and at Siam Commercial Bank in Thailand. I also served as a consultant on public finance issues for the United Nations ESCAP, the Asian Development Bank, and the World Bank.

I am honored to have my research acknowledged with awards, including the Richard Musgrave Prize from the National Tax Association in 2015, and the National Research Award from the National Research Council of Thailand in 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2024, reflecting my dedication to impactful research.
