Objective of CMRI
To promote and support research, training,
and the development of knowledge, or academic work, that is beneficial to the capital market.
The Capital Market Research Institute (CMRI) is an agency under the Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF). It was established to develop and enhance the capacity for capital market research, as well as to promote and support funding for broader capital market research and support various activities to achieve the objectives of capital market development, which will benefit the capital market as a whole.
The Capital Market Research Institute plays a part in driving the achievement of the objectives of the Capital Market Development Fund, as stipulated in Section 218/2 of the Securities and Exchange Act (No. 6) B.E. 2562 (2019).

Duties of the Research Subcommittee
Provide advice and recommendations, and review capital market research studies to help generate research that benefits the market.
Review and approve funding for research, academic work, and/or projects proposed within the defined scope.
Perform other duties as assigned by the CMDF Committee.

Reporting Inappropriate Conduct or Complaints.
You can provide information or file a complaint regarding any inappropriate conduct by CMDF, to promote the development of the capital market.
This includes practices that are conflicting or suspected to be illegal or unethical, violations of rights, or defective internal control systems, requiring an investigation into the facts. CMDF has measures in place to protect whistleblowers, and whistleblowers can choose to remain anonymous.
