Wachirawit Puttachai is a researcher at the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) and a member of the Business and Sustainable Development team. He is currently interested in sustainable finance and the adaptation of financial institutions to climate change. Before joining the TDRI, he was a researcher at Kasikorn Research Center Co., Ltd. Prior to that, he was a researcher at the Center of Excellence in Econometrics, Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University. Wachirawit holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from Chiang Mai University, funded by the Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund.
