Narun currently works at Regulatory Policy Division, Public Governance Directorate of the OECD, in Paris France, on secondment from Offie of the Council of State (OCS). At OCS, he holds a joint position of senior legal counsel at Financial and Fiscal Law Division and Law Reform Division.
In recent time, Narun has been responsible for a number of important digital economic laws including the Decree on Digital Asset Businesses (effective since 2018) and the Electronic Transaction Bill (ongoing draft). His research interests span law and economics, law and fintech, as well as regulatory policy, the subjects on which he teaches at both leading universities in the Asia Pacific region.
Narun reads laws at University College London (LL.B. (Hons)). He also holds postgraduate degrees from UCL (LL.M. (Commercial Law Specialization) and Columbia University Law School (LL.M. and J.S.D.). He is a non-practicing member of New York Bar.
