Dr. Siriyos Chuthanondha is an Assistant Vice President at the Research Department of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). He is responsible for leading research and strategic initiatives to strengthen the Thai capital market. His work includes developing tools such as the Investor Sentiment Index, promoting factor investing, advancing financial disclosure standards, and designing volatility control measures in times of crisis. In addition, Dr. Siriyos has organized research and innovation programs, including the SET Thai Capital Market Research Innovation and SET Sustainable Hackathon 2025 Contest.
Dr. Siriyos holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Chulalongkorn University under the Stock Exchange of Thailand’s scholarship. He also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science in Finance (MS) from the University of Colorado at Denver. He completed his Bachelor of Economics at Thammasat University.
His research focuses on the development of the capital market through empirical analysis of stock markets, financial disclosure, investor behavior, and sustainable investing. Specific interests include factor investing, volatility measurement and control, textual analysis of financial disclosure, asset pricing using explainable artificial intelligence (xAI).
