Dr. Pantisa Pavabutr is currently Associate Professor of finance at Thammasat Business School. Her specialization and research interest is in empirical asset pricing and market microstructure. She has been visiting research fellow at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and Development Bank of Japan, Tokyo and visiting professor at ESCP Business School, Paris. Pantisa earned her Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin with David Bruton Jr. Scholarship.  She has won research support from TJ Posco Foundation, Korea and Thailand Research Fund. More recently, her initiative to provide a ready-to-use market microstructure database using intraday transaction data from the SET has received funding from CMDF.
